Happy Father's Day...one day late ;)

I might be posting a day late, but the pictures and the gifts were on time!  (Small pat on the back for me).  My husband is such an amazing Daddy.  I could not have asked for a better Daddy for my babies.  So happy Father's Day to you my love!  And here is our youngest little angel, Olive....daddy's girl phase has officially begun!

It is so crazy how time flies & how fast little ones grow!  My little Olive bug is already 1 year old!  What?!?!  I am beyond blessed to get to stay at home everyday & watch her grow.  She is so goofy!  She doesn't just walk, she runs!  She doesn't just talk, she yells!  She doesn't just hug, she cuddles & kisses!  I am so excited to see the next thing she learns....but for now, I will enjoy my beautiful little one year old.

One of the most beautiful woman I know, inside & out, is gonna be a Mama!  It's so hard to describe to a woman that is about to be a mom for the first time, what her life is going to be like after the baby comes.  I didn't know myself until I experienced it earlier this year.  It's like you just look at other moms & you all just know the feeling.  No words necessary...Seriously ladies, no words necessary!  Ally & I joked about how when you are pregnant every lady wants to tell you their story of it all.  But no matter how many stories you hear, nothing is ever even close to what you actually experience & feel when that baby is in your arms.

I am excited for you & the journey you are about to go on.  You are going to be an amazing Mom Ally!

I am sooo happy for my brother & sister in law.  They are already so in love with little CJ. It's a lot of fun to watch new parents interact with such delicacy in every detail.  That is until they get pee shot at them during a diaper change or they drop a poopy diaper on the baby right after a diaper change...either way, it's amazing to see that unconditional love in their eyes!

CJ was very particular in what he would allow us to do with him...but I believe we got some adorable pics of what he would allow!  This little man is going to be a tough man one day!  Soon!  And you better get used to having your picture taken CJ, cause your Auntie is known for being picture crazy ;)

Sometimes I think I should put a hidden camera up to video the parents & I while I am doing a kid photo session.  If I had, the pics from this session would be hilarious!  But hey, anything to get the picture!  And we did get the picture! I mean, look at his beautiful face!

kellen is 2!

I know, I know, I am delayed on updating the blog, but these newborns are a lot of work ;)  Now that I have my life some what under control, I will be updating the blog with some new sweet faces!

First is one of my favorite little guys, Kellen!  I can't believe he is already two!  Time flies!  This little guy always makes me work to get a photo.  He is here & there & pretty much everywhere, except right in front of the camera!  But what do I expect from a 2 year old boy?!  He is who he is & we wouldn't take him any other way!

Conner holiday pics!

I love this time of year & I love it even more with little ones around.  They make something so simple like decorating a tree seem a little extra magical & fun!  Our little guy had so much fun being our assistant for the day.  All we had to do was tell him to decorate the tree & he was on it!  He got excited over picking which bulbs go where & he was so distraught over a broken ornament.  Good thing Daddy was there to fix it for him so he could finish the job.  Good job little man!

I absolutely loved doing these holiday minis!  I can't wait to do another session like this next year.  It turned out to be a beautiful day to do photos.  The sun was out & everyone was in a great mood!  Carson was such a little explorer, but what else does a 3 year old do!? He barely sat still as he carried around all the "apples" that I had, aka red Christmas bulbs.  It's always a good time following around a 3 year old as they move in between multiple trees then walk up to your camera and say "cheese & crackers" right in front of your lens!  Such a memorable day & little man!
