lace

I have been wanting to do a shoot with lace for sometime. I love the pattern it can make when you place it right. Me and the roomie got bored again so decided we would do it tonight seeing how we had some time to kill while chef Syd was cooking something up in the kitchen. Since I was doing lace, I wanted to do a kind of "old/vintage" look to the images. So I played with the colors and everything in photoshop for awhile. I love them all and am having a problem making a decision on a couple of them. I know that the first two are very similar, but to me, very different. I can't decide which one I like more. Please help me out. I also tried different tones on all of them to give them all a different emotional feeling. Let me know if you like them and if the toning works well.

trees

So as most people know by now, it has snowed a lot in NY again. I love the snow. I hate the cold that comes with it, but love snow. So I decided to walked through Central Park with a full battery this time and I got some fun shots. My friend Sydney came with me this time. Syd is a good friend from Michigan who now lives in Vermont for chef school. I love it when Syd visits, all it is cooking....mmmmmm.....and trips to go take photos. Anyway, here are a few of the pictures, I will post more later.

B. Sherman & Charity Event

On Monday night, I volunteered to help with a charity event/runway show. The designer was B. Sherman and his sister runs a charity called Benjamins Foundation. The event was an A.I.D.S. fundraiser. There was a nice turnout and good energy in the room. Here are a couple shots from the carpet.

winter wonderland

So, I am sure that most of you know that there is a storm rollin through New York City and the rest of the east coast. I decided to venture out into the storm, with a friend, and go to Central Park for a stroll. It was a beautiful walk. I would of taken more images but my battery died after only being there for like a half hour. I am charging my battery as we speak and hopefully if I get brave tomorrow, I will venture out again and hopefully get a lot more shots. Until then, I hope you like these few that I managed to get before the battery died.

what happens when you are bored

So, what happens when you are bored and you are a photographer and your roommate is a model...this....

Me and KT got bored, so we thought what the heck, let's do a photo shoot. We got a lot of great images. We were trying to go for a gold theme, but anyone who knows me, knows that I love my black and whites. So here is one in the gold theme and one in the black and white. Let me know what you think. I think that I am in LOVE with the B & W.
